"The Tracer Trout was designed with extensive attention to detail to mimic a freshly-stocked hatchery rainbow trout. Measuring 8-3/4 inches long from nose to tail, the body profile was shaped to take on a 'blunted' look which is often characteristic of planted trout. Carved scales contribute to the overall presentation by adding a level of depth and realism. The hooks are intentionally placed to maximize hookups with 'tail biters' or fish that T-bone the bait."
